Experience & skills

Where I've worked, what I studied, and the tools I use to ship.

  1. June 2025 – Present

Board Member & Technology Consultant, SNAP Engineering Solutions

Advise the board of an international engineering firm on technology and AI strategy, translating technical capability into investment and roadmap decisions for a non-technical audience. Evaluate emerging technology against real operational problems and recommend what is worth pursuing versus where a process change solves it more cheaply. Deliver internal training that builds AI capability among non-technical staff across a geographically distributed organization.

  2. Oct 2025 – Present

    AI Engineer, DataCompass

Production ML systems, LLM pipelines, and automated data workflows for real business use. Built an AI profile automation that enriches the platform's knowledge base with 85 structured company profiles per cycle, replacing a 42-hour manual research process. Built an AI agent that CROs use to fill out RFPs from that enriched knowledge base, and manage the Supabase data infrastructure behind both. Present solution options and trade-offs to executive leadership, and build data pipelines and quality controls with documentation other teams can follow.

  3. 2024 – 2026

MS Applied Data Science & AI, University of Denver

4.0 GPA. Machine learning, deep learning, statistical modeling, and LLM systems. Applied projects in medical image classification, predictive analytics, and time series forecasting.

  4. 2017 – 2021

BS Behavioral Neuroscience, University of Kansas

Have a problem worth modeling carefully?

I'm glad to talk about interpretable ML, LLM systems, or a dataset that deserves better.
